2025-2026 The Spanish-English Conversation Club became the Language Buddies Project, which brings together native speakers of Spanish or Portuguese with native speakers of English so that together they can practise both languages in an informal setting, organised by themselves. ILA-WALES introduces the members who want to participate in this Project and provides support by means of Quizlets, language texts and dictionaries.
The Spanish Conversation Club will cater for three different groups (beginners, intermediate and advanced) and native speakers of Spanish will facilitate the three levels in an informal setting, through games and fun activities.
The advanced group could look into reading and performing a play in Spanish if they so wish. The Club will also provide opportunities to practise English.
